Because of the size of these .wav files, they are held on my FTP server. If you wish to download any of these files, please send me an email (address is on the Home page) and I will provide access information. All .wav files have been saved at 'FAST' speed.

BG Games

Microtan enthusiast Barry Graham has successfully transfered the games on Geoff MacDonald's Microtan Emulator web-site to run on his 'real' Microtan. The games have then been saved as .wav files. Details of these games are listed below. Note, unless otherwise stated, all these games require a joystick connected to Port A of the first TANEX VIA - details here.

This is the BASIC text adventure game "6 Keys of Tangrin" as printed in Tansoft Gazette Issue 1. Instructions are provided in the program.

BALLIS

This is the BASIC shooting game "Ballistics" as printed in Tansoft Gazette Issue 2. Requires HRG plus HRG toolkit. Instructions are provided in the program listing.

ASD

Asteroid Attack distributed by TUG. Popular 1980s Computer game. Navigate your spacecraft through a belt of asteroids.
Sound effects are available via the cassette interface.

Catacombs is a BASIC program distributed by Premier Publications,
Instructions are provided in the program listing.

DEF

Defender distributed by Microtanic Software. Take control of fighter spacecraft defending the last outposts of civilization from huge attack waves of alien invaders.
Keypad required.

GOBBLE

Gobbler distributed by Microtanic Software. Another popular 1980s Computer Game. Involves the control of a 'fighter' navigating its way around a monster-infested dungeon.
Keypad or Keyboard may be used.

SSC

Star Chess distributed by Microtanic Software. A two-player game involving graphics and sound based on traditional chess.
